The Story Behind SaccoPhoto
How It Started
I didn’t grow up thinking I’d be a photographer. But looking back, it makes perfect sense. I was the kid who got lost in old photo albums—flipping through prints of my parents as teenagers, our family pets, the moments that somehow felt important just because they were there. I didn’t realize it then, but I was studying something deeper: how a photo can make you feel. How it can turn time into memory.
Turning a Passion into a Business
I bought my first camera in 2015, when the ideas in my head started asking for more than my phone could handle. At first, I was just capturing my new puppy, Honey—but that quickly turned into something more creative. I didn’t know exactly where it would lead—I just knew I wanted to create images that felt the way those old photo albums had made me feel. That pull toward photography kept showing up, even when life got in the way. Sometimes I’d drift from it, but it always found its way back in.
Over time, that back-and-forth turned into something steadier. I started taking the work more seriously—putting in the hours, learning the craft, and figuring out how to turn this thing I kept coming back to into something I could actually build on. That’s when SaccoPhoto started to feel real. Not just as a name, but as a direction.
Why I Shoot (And What I Look For)
Let’s start with pets. That’s where this really began—trying to capture their personalities, their quirks, the kind of bond that doesn’t need explanation. From there, I started bringing my camera into the gym, especially in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, where I found a whole different kind of intensity. The grit. The repetition. The moments no one sees—but every athlete remembers. That’s what hooked me in.
Then came branding work—visually striking, often overlooked, and almost always underserved. I’ve always been drawn to people who care deeply about what they do, and now I get to help them show that to the world. Pet, business, or sport—my job stays the same: capture the work, the pride, and the personality behind it.
My Focus Today:
Brand Content
For brands, I want the photos to actually say something—about what you do, how you do it, and why people should care. I like getting to know the ins and outs of someone’s work, what they’re building, what they’re proud of—and then figuring out how to show that in a way that feels real and useful.
What I care about most is understanding the craft behind it. Whether you’re pulling shots in a café, pressing shirts in a studio, or building something from scratch in a basement—if you care about what you do, I want to learn it. I want to see the details, the rhythm, the thing you might not even think is worth photographing. Because that’s usually where the good stuff is.
Portraits
For portraits—whether it’s pets, athletes, couples, or individuals—it’s about working together to bring out what makes someone stand out. I bring the experience, the lighting, and the eye for detail—but the best results always come from a session that feels like a collaboration, not a performance. We talk, we adjust, and we figure out what actually works—not just what looks good on paper.
Everyone brings something different to the camera, and that’s the point. Some clients come in with a vision, others just want to mark a moment in time. Either way, we find the rhythm and build from there. The goal is to create something honest, strong, and worth keeping.
Why This Matters to Me
This work keeps evolving—because we do, too. Every client brings something different to the table: a story, a skill, a passion, a reason for wanting to slow time down and hold onto something. I’ve worked with people launching businesses, chasing goals, honoring milestones, or just wanting to freeze the way things are right now—before they change. And every time, I’m reminded why I do this.
I care about what drives people. What they’ve built. What they’re proud of—even if they don’t always say it out loud. Every session is a chance to listen, to collaborate, and to create something that feels grounded in them. Something that lasts.
That’s always been the point of SaccoPhoto: to make sure your story—whether it’s a brand you’ve built, the sport you love, or the pet you’ll never forget—doesn’t fade with time. We’re here to make it tangible. To make it matter. To make it last.
